You are invited to a fantastic weekend of music and inspiration August 18-19 at Spring Valley Academy!

Whether you are a student, parent, alumnus, constituent church or  community member, you don’t want to miss this. Join us as we worship at a Friday evening vespers filled with inspirational music provided by Buddy Houghtaling and Sabbath services featuring speaker Dr. Peter Bath and the music of SVA students.

Help us kick off the school year by recommitting to our mission, each other, and Jesus.

Friday, August 18 (SVA Gym)

6:30 pm – Vespers

Buddy Houghtaling concert (children’s program provided)

Buddy Houghtaling is a Christian singer/songwriter who has traveled extensively with his music. He has a creative and unique flair for writing, and his lyrics weave together the stories of Christ’s loe for His people, His grace and His mercy. Join us for this unforgettable experience.

Saturday, August 19 (SVA Gym)

10:00 am – Sabbath School

SVA musical feast – worship and praise with SVA students, parents and faculty.

11:30 am – Church (Children’s program provided)

Music and worship led by SVA students, parents and faculty. Teacher dedication. Featured speaker, Dr. Peter Bath

Peter Bath, D.Min, M.B.A. serves as Kettering Health Network Vice President for Mission and Ministry. Dr. Bath has more than 38 years experience working in a variety of roles for SDA health care, higher education and church congregations, including prior roles with Kettering College and Kettering SDA Church. Join us as Dr. Bath shares with us about the Holy Spirit.

12:30 pm – Lunch

Bring a picnic lunch and join the SVA family at the Longest Table (in the SVA front circle, weather permitting. In case of rain, lunch will be in the gym)
