Silent Auction Donors: Celebrating Community Generosity
Spring Valley Academy benefits from the generosity of a supportive community in many ways throughout the year.
One example of this can be seen each year at our Gala Auction. This past February, our Gatsby Gala raised over $250,000 toward our new Worship and Performing Arts Center building project. This was done through generous sponsorships, ticket sales, direct donations and, of course, live and silent auction purchases.
Those silent auction items are donated by the local business community. This year we nearly doubled the amount of money raised through our silent auction thanks to the hard work of a wonderful team of volunteers who encouraged the support of the businesses and service providers in the Dayton area.
One way you can support SVA is by patronizing these businesses. Let them know you heard about them through their association with SVA, or if it’s a business you already frequent, thank them for their support of the SVA Auction!
