Overview
The Spring Valley Academy cafeteria offers a hot lunch each day for purchase. All food is vegetarian and incorporates many meat-substitute products (such as Worthington Foods, Morningstar Farms, etc.).
- Lunch is available from 10:50 a.m. – 1 p.m. The lunch menu includes a daily complete fixed meal as well as various other items available. Some of these items are grab-and-go sandwiches, entrée salads, fresh fruit or vegetables, yogurt, string cheese, and various drinks.
Please see the menu for more details about the food selections available. (Download menu below). The menu shows what is available each day for the plate special price, with milk or juice. In the daily meal block of the menu it shows if there is a Side Special listed with an additional cost.
Also, any casserole on the menu can be ordered for your family a week prior to its day on the menu. We have two sizes:
- Small (4-6 servings) $10.00
- Large (12-15 servings) $25.00
Cafeteria Account
Every student automatically has a cafeteria account opened in their name at the start of the school year. Add funds to your child’s account by indicating the amount in the “lunch account” box here.
The cashier will email parents to notify them when their child’s cafeteria account balance gets low on funds. When this occurs, it is time to replenish the account to avoid suspension of charging privileges. Students will need to pay cash when their account funds are gone.
