Art

Spring Valley Academy’s art department is led by Mrs. Beth Jeffers, and encourages each student’s creative expression through the medium of visual arts. 

The art room is a light-filled space, designed to enhance artistic energy. The program also boasts a ceramics room, with a dedicated kiln. Beyond just learning how to create art using the elements and principles of art, the organizational concept of visual literacy is studied.

Over the years, the art department has enjoyed Art Tours (traveling nationally and internationally) and promotes student work in the hallways and in the lobby of the Fritzsche Center for Worship and Performing Arts.
