Scholastic Book Sale

This annual book fair is usually held for an entire week each year. The multipurpose room is transformed into a fun and inviting place to buy and read books. The fair gives our students and teachers an opportunity to create wish lists and choose their own books. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to find books they really love. We know kids read more books when they get to choose their own, and the more kids read, the more their reading skills improve. By purchasing books from our fair you participate in refreshing our student’s classroom libraries for E5-6th grades. Check out our online fair and share the link with your friends and family https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/springvalleyacad

Fall Festival

Fall Fest is a fundraising event that takes place every fall and will be held this year on Sunday, September 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event is held outdoors (weather permitting) on our front campus lawn where each class/grade sponsors a food or craft booth and/or activity to raise funds for their class or club. Activities include a hayride, bouncy house, kiddie train ride, dunk tanks, gaga ball, and a variety of other games, activities and food. Parking is $3 which benefits the senior class. The carnival-like atmosphere coupled with a beautiful fall day is greatly anticipated each fall and thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Birthday Book Club

Dedicate a children’s book to our elementary school library by purchasing a book dedicated to your child in celebration of their birthday. Books can also be dedicated to a teacher or in memory of a family member. This is a great way to help build our school library with fun and updated literature. Your child’s book will feature their school photo on the front cover of the book. Leave your child’s legacy at Spring Valley Academy and help Mrs. Lisa Cole, our librarian, offer great books to all students!
