Thank you for volunteering with Spring Valley Academy! To ensure the safety and well-being of every student, completion of the Sterling Volunteer Process is required for all SVA volunteers participating in school activities.

Whether you’re helping on campus, joining us for field trips, supporting school events, or assisting with athletics, your involvement makes a meaningful difference. This policy reflects our commitment to student safety at both SVA and within the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Parent and family participation not only strengthens our school community, it’s essential to maintaining a secure, welcoming environment where our students thrive.

You can download the SVA Volunteer and Driver Information below.

Every volunteer (including parents) at Spring Valley Academy must now complete the Sterling Volunteers online training. Create a First Time Registrant account at the link and the online form will be self-explanatory from there. This is a two-part program and will take about 35 minutes to complete, and it can be done in segments. The second part will ask you for information so a background check can be run. This background check is good for three years.

In addition, each parent and/or volunteer must fill out a School Volunteer/Driver Application Form if you plan to drive students. The form below will ask you to provide a copy of your driver’s license and proof of insurance with attached declaration page of your policy (minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability) that can be submitted to the front office. These must be completed each year.

Thank you once again for your involvement and participation!
