National Honor Society

SVA sponsors a chapter in the National Honor Society. Benefits to members may include:

• Scholarships
• Ease of college admission
• Future job placement

To be invited to join the National Honor Society (NHS), juniors and seniors with a minimum cumulative 3.33 grade point average are notified of eligibility and given a student information sheet, which is evaluated by all high school faculty with emphasis on community service, leadership, and character.

Mrs. Kathy Burns, Registrar, and Dr. Katrina Bennie, Guidance Counselor, are the NHS sponsors.
