Welcome Back Social and Open House – August 14

The 2017-2018 school year is nearly under way! To celebrate, the Home & School Association has planned a Welcome Back Social at 5:00 pm in the front circle area August 14 to precede the Open House program which begins at 6:30 pm in the gym.
Picnic Social
- Students, staff, parents, alumni and friends of SVA are all welcome to participate in the Welcome Back Picnic!
- Supper served beginning at 5:00 pm
- Free picnic dinner of vegetarian hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and other picnic fare
- There will be a watermelon eating contest, with a free SVA T-shirt as the prize! To sign up for the contest, please email or call Home & School [email protected] or 433-0790 ext 173.

Open House
- A brief “meet the team” program will begin in the gym at 6:30 pm, followed immediately by two 20-minute rotations of teacher orientation for all K-6 students/parents.
- Middle and high school students will be able to pick up their class schedules, books, iPad and locker assignments
- Information stations will be set up throughout the gym about various programs, clubs and activities
