Pre-Arranged Absences

Parents/guardians should complete a Pre-Arranged Absence Form for all planned absences from school, including:

  • Family vacations
  • Family day(s) off
  • Funerals
  • Religious observances
  • Other pre-planned absences

The completed form must be submitted prior to the absence for administrative review and approval. Approval of a pre-arranged absence does not remove the absence from a student’s attendance record; the days missed will still count toward the student’s total absences for the school year.
