(On the Road with the Rabbi) Focus: The Teachings of Jesus
Chaplain Joel Greve
In a world obsessed with speed, efficiency, and control, this year’s theme, Meandering With the Master, invites us to slow down and walk with Jesus. Meandering with the Master is not about rushing from one spiritual checkpoint to another—it’s about lingering with His words and letting them shape us from the inside out.

Like the disciples who followed Jesus down dusty roads, we want to listen closely to His parables, wrestle with His countercultural call to love, and lean into His wisdom for how to live, forgive, and belong. This is not a race, but a rhythm. A pilgrimage. A meandering journey with the Master.
Theme Verse:Micah 6:8
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”
Micah 6:8
