National Merit Scholarship Program Recognizes Two SVA Students

Spring Valley Academy received good news recently, as two of our Seniors were distinguished in the National Merit Scholarship Program for 2024. Noah Hahn is being recognized as a Commended Student and Garrett Johns as a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist.

Noah is one of approximately 34,000 Commended Students being recognized for his exceptional academic promise.

Garrett will continue on to the next phase of the competition as one of 16,000 National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists.

Noah and Garrett were celebrated by Principal Spencer Hannah at a special assembly on Tuesday.

“I am very proud of their achievements,” said Principal Hannah. “Noah and Garrett are both bright students with promising futures. I congratulate Noah on his Commended status and wish Garrett good luck as he continues on to the next stage of the National Merit Scholarship Program.”
